Modern slope style is one of my newest fascinations in snow sports. I have followed its evolution from merely being a freestyle skiing frenzy into a new sports category in extreme sports. Though I am a pretty amateur snowboarder, I have seen casual snowboarders bloom to the most prized slope style skiers in the history of extreme sports.
Getting to see this celebrated event in the Winter X Games in Aspen was the best treat for myself ever. Men and women alike dominate this event and its prominence has taken the entire snowboarding community across the globe by a storm. To watch the events of the top calibers Shaun White and Scotty Lago was one of the best treats that will take me back home with all smiles. Nevertheless, the freezing cold almost drove me away from the main stunt shows. Good thing I had Bunny Boots to keep me warm. Standing for hours in minus 30 degrees is a great ordeal, and this trip is not supposed to be one.
Frost bites could have taken the opportunity for me to come face to face with my sporting heroes White and Lago But the Bunny Boots made sure I got myself the photos and the autographs for an unforgettable high mountain experience. Some fell out of line from the cue, obviously because of the unbearable cold despite the thick clothing they wore. The things we mostly underestimate usually do us the best when least expected.
